Yerevan Free Walking Tour covers over 25 sites of interest in Yerevan, spiced with captivating stories, providing travelers with information about Armenia, from history to culture, from architecture to cuisine, and from art to recent events. The tour includes must-see locations in Yerevan, such as the Cascade complex, the Republic Square, the Opera house, but it also takes travelers to back alleys and hidden places as well, lasting around 2.5 hours.
The tour usually ends in one of the local bars, where guests engage in conversations, asking their further questions. Participants receive a free copy of Backpackers' Map of Yerevan and insider info on where/how to go to other sites in Armenia. Guests can stay longer in the bar for drinks or food if they want to.
The Yerevan Free Walking Tours are organized by Yerevan-based artist and traveler Vako Armeno. And as with all free walking tours around the world, travelers may 'tip' their guide as they see fit at the end of the tour.
